This site is built and based on information that a great many other people have collected over the years. In particular, my first cousin 1 time removed Jim Carraher has done extensive research on the family name and origins. At some point I will put more of the information on the roots of the name he has compiled onto the site. Much of the Mathew Carraher line is built on work that Jim leveraged from Dick and Irene Carraher. Many
others have sent me information and traded emails. In general it is quite
