PRE CALIBRATION CONDITIONS
While many calibrators agree that a break in
period is essential, I feel that it is also best for the prospective client to wait until he or she is sure that they
will be keeping their new display. Once any "return period" has elapsed and after between 50 and 100 or so hours have been
run in on the display, a basic or thorough calibration can be performed without any color temperature change issues arising.
SETUP "BASIC" CALIBRATION INCLUDES
I'll check for the best possible connection
interfaces. Then
properly adjust user controls for black levels, white
levels, edge enhancement, color and tint..
Quite frankly, this is a MUST DO! Either hire me, or use an
appropriate test disk and read all of your manuals completely. It will provide a more pleasing image for you
and, in most cases, be better for your display as well!
