A quote from Slatter Slopey II: A Diamond in the Rough (The Angel's Second Visit)ã
In the sun’s shadow, she saw the huge angel hovering above them. He swooped down so close to her the tip of his wings almost touched the top
of her grandpa’s head.
The loud deafening sound of his massive wings fluttered loudly in her ears.
The deep soul stirring view that she experienced next would be imbedded in her mind for all of eternity.
She
actually caught a glimpse of one of the angel’s wings as he flew directly overhead. She saw numerous layers of bright
white, transparent feathers that unfurled like petals of a rose. She tried her
best to raise a hand to reach out and touch it, but she was too weak. As they rushed toward the back door of the house, Slatter
looked up and saw the shadow of the angel still lingering over them, with wings outstretched, in a protecting way.
