Activities

Parenting can be very rewarding, but also hard work. Peer support can help reduce stress and frustration. We are here to give support and understanding to each other for the daily joys and tasks of motherhood.

We have many activities for you and your children each month. Most activities take place during the day, when we need support the most!

ü     Weekly Activities: the club meets to share ideas, socialize and discuss club activities while our children play together. We meet at different venues every week.  Some examples are parks, inflatable play areas, gymnastics, indoor play areas, kid friendly coffee houses.

ü     Monthly Field Trips: the group ventures off to various locations such as a local zoo, museum or farms. All ages are welcome.

ü     Parties: themed holiday parties throughout the year including Valentine’s Day, Halloween and Easter Egg Hunt. These events are always very fun and include crafts, munchies and drinks.

ü     Moms’ Night Out: once a month, moms are given an opportunity to take a break and enjoy a “girls night out” and have fun!  We enjoy things like pottery, scavenger hunts, Mardi Gras, going to the movies, out to eat or shopping (to name a few).

ü     Playgroups: moms with children of similar ages get together in smaller groups to play at a local park, at a member's home or for a field trip.  This is a great way to get to know each other better!

ü Fitness: we have a stroller walk that meets a local park or trail each week.

ü     Helping Hands: members volunteer to welcome home new moms and bring them meals. Relax and bond with your new baby...what a treat!

ü     Service Projects: activities and fundraisers to benefit local charities and helping out the community.
