Head Coach Kathe Stufflebean began her coaching career in 1976, coaching the Gold Coast Swim Team in 1995. Kathe co-coached
SCAT (with Chris Richmond). Since the summer of 2004, Kathe is once again the head coach of GCST. Kathe has also been the
Marshfield High School Head Coach since 1988.
Over her 36 years of experience, Kathe has received multiple
honors, including Oregon Swimming Coach of the Year in 1984, Outstanding Constribution to Oregon Swimming in the 1992-1993
school year. Kathe is a level 5 ASCA Coach and has coached a swimmer that made it into the Olypmic Trials. Kathe has also
been the Head Coach for the Zone Team for three years. Kathe continues to inspire and encourage swimmers of all ages here
at Mingus Park Pool
