Lady Knights women's volunteer group

The Lady Knights is a woman's volunteer group whose purpose is to serve the church in whatever way that they can.
These ladies run the kitchen at the bingo hall and use the proceeds to benefit the church however they can.  They bought the tables and chairs in the Parish Center and are also replacing the tables at the bingo hall.  They purchase the table decorations.  Whenever something needs to be done the ladies are generally the ones that step up and see that it gets done.
They organize the funeral dinners and decorate the parish center, they clean the church and the rectory.  They also decorate the church and do the landscaping around the church grounds.
They are not bashful about asking the men to help with some of these projects.
They are not all about work though.  They have monthly meetings to discuss their projects and to have fellowship with other members.  They also organize trips to various locations (they will let the men come most of the time).  Past trips have included Our Lady of Snows near St. Louis, the Wolf Homemade Chocolate factory in Attica and a trip to the Beef House near Covington to eat dinner and watch the play "Nunsense".  They also organized a trip to St. Meinrad and the Jasper area.
The Lady Knights recently purchased almost all of the windows in the Parish Center Basement.
If you feel that this group is for you then contact the parish center.  They will be more than glad to help.
