Welcome to Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church!

We are a Catholic Church and have been in Brazil at our present location since 1880.  To find out more about our Church's history in Clay County please see the history page.
Our pastor is Father Harold W. Rightor II.
Even though we are a relatively small church, as Catholic churches go, we have several active groups that new members are welcome to join.  There are youth groups and CCD classes for the kids, Lady Knights for the women and Knights of Columbus for the men.
Join us after 8:30 mass on Sunday for fellowship in the Parish Center.  We have coffee and donuts and good conversation.  We have an informal discussion group called Donut Discovery where we discuss various topics in the bible.
The church also supports a preschool in our Parish Center.  Currently the preschool has around 60 children registered.
From the various committees, groups and individuals that keep the church running to the groups that work within the community we have much to offer those looking for an activity.
Volunteers from the parish also run the bingo hall which helps support our Church.

Our rectory is located just north of the church, the Parish Center is located in the old school building directly behind the church, the church offices are in the basement of the center and our Bingo Hall is located at 8990 N. Kennedys Crossing Road.

Please take a view minutes and see what we have to offer.  Read our history and that of the organ.  Read about what we are doing with a long closed up stained glass window.  We also have sections on our Lady Knights, the Knights of Columbus and Bingo.
